Google releases My Maps. Make your map and post it here!

I'm in to looking at small bits of other peoples lives - the bits they like to show off.  In a virtual sense.  Is this coming across right?  Anyway,  I'd love to see where you've been and where you'd like to go. 

So, stop on over to Google's My Maps and make something.  Then post a link to it here so we can all check it out!

Love your maps!  Wow, I've always wanted to go to Edinburgh!  I believe they say it's like Paris without all the hoopla!  I have been to London and other parts of the UK, loved it to death.  LOL, tell us more about chasing the peacocks - are you sure they weren't chasing you?!

My Map

I really enjoyed doing this, amazingly so. 

Every time I attempted to draw lines, I would mess the whole thing up, get the placemarks in the wrong place, etc.  Geez!  I ended up doing the whole thing over again, LOL.

That's a very powerful story for four points on a map.  Makes you realize that when you're looking at these lines on paper, it isn't just lines on paper, but lives.

I'm glad to see that everything turned out okay for you and yours after such a harrowing event!

Thanks a lot, AG.  I have to tell you that there was something very therapeutic about doing it, not kidding.  I never talk about it in public, anywhere.  But the map thing just begged for it, and I could tell the story without feeling I had to tell every detail of the story.  I'm so glad you posted about Google Maps.  I think I'd like to make some others soon, too!
