Alexandria for my books in Ubuntuland

Talk about it in our Forums

the more books the better!

As I use Tellico to manage my DVD collection, I’ve started to use Alexandria to manage my much more extensive book collection.

While Alexandria doesn’t attempt to do as much as Tellico – it only manages books – it does so quite well. And I might add, it accepts input from my bar code scanner with no problems.

It’s capable of doing lookups from Amazon and any number of other entities. It also features a smooth and more intuitive user interface.

Ubuntu and Debian users can simply type: sudo apt-get install alexandria – to enjoy this great application.

geek out.
