Trashy

Tired of browsing through your folders, finding files that are stale, sending them to the trash and then emptying it? Does this make your life feel empty?
Want to save yourself almost .7 seconds each time you do this? Well thankfully there is a way! In Ubuntu simply go to Places -> Home folder. Then at the top of your browsing window, select Edit -> Preferences. From there click the Behavior tab. Check of the box at the very bottom that says “Include a Delete command that bypasses Trash” and friend, you are one step closer to optimizing your day.

geek out.
