Those wacky folks over at CERN have released a statement ensuring us, the concerned and scientific minded public that when the worlds most powerful particle accelerator comes online it won’t destroy the earth.

Generating as many as 60 mini-black holes a minute, we can rest easy that none of them will slip through whatever containment device they’re using, and travel through the Earth collecting mass as it goes and eventually eating our planet form the inside out.

    Firstly, READ THIS ENTIRE POST BEFORE YOU FREAK OUT.
    There is no containment device. They evaporate instantly because of hawking radiation.
