hello there and thank you for your info – I’ve definitely picked up something new from right here. I did however expertise a few technical issues using this web site, since I experienced to reload the website lots of times previous to I could get it to load properly. I had been wondering if your hosting is OK? Not that I'm complaining, but slow loading instances times will sometimes affect your placement in google and could damage your quality score if advertising and marketing with Adwords. Well I am adding this RSS to my e-mail and could look out for much more of your respective intriguing content. Make sure you update this again very soon..

[...] Shared Folders Folders that can be shared over Windows networks are very easy to configure. The quickest way is to right click on the folder you wish to share and click on the Share Folder. You can check whether or not you want it to be read only, or if you want to give full write access to the folder. This make it convenient to share files with Windows, or even other Ubuntu machines. ArsGeek has a fairly good graphical guide. [...]

I followed your instructions and nothing happens. Doesn't matter if I choose NFS or Samba. When I use another Ubuntu machine, how do I access the shared folder on the first Ubuntu machine? What's the method to *get into* the shared folder?

On Windows or Mac, the shares just show up under Network/Networking/Shares. But "Places > Network" has no share listed in Ubuntu.
