LinuxMCE looks to be very, very interesting. If I had a box that had any media capabilities, I’d set this puppy up today! Think of an integrated MythTV installer with all the extras and features in a single installable format that requires almost no setup.
Time to say goodbye to Tivo? Here’s a brief list of neat stuff it can do:
Version 1.0
Media & Entertainment
• 3D alpha-blended GUI optimized for displaying on a TV and using a remote control
• Media browser presenting all content on all devices in the home on a 3D rotating cube
• Plug-and-play detection and aggregation of network storage and DMA’s
• Built-in NAS providing centralized backup and whole-house media server
• “Follow Me” Media, each family member’s media follows him/her through the house
• Automatically controls all existing av devices, like TV’s, Stereo’s, etc.
• Many control options: mobile phone, webpad, pda, phone
Smart Home
• Home Automation: Control lighting, climate, security, camera surveillance, and more
• Communication: Phone system with auto-attendant, voice mail, call forwarding/routing for VOIP and POTS lines
• Security: Uses your existing home alarm, surveillance cameras, lights, phones and tv’s to notify you on your mobile phone of any security alerts with the option of reseting the alarm or broadcasting your voice in the house over the tv’s.

Unquestionably believe that which you stated. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the internet the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while people consider worries that they just don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks

It truly is rare to encounter an experienced person in whom you can have some faith. In the world in the present day, nobody absolutely cares about showing others the solution in this matter. How blessed I am to have actually found a wonderful web-site as this. It is people like you exactly who make a true difference these days through the thoughts they write about.
