I hold a couple of Comptia certs (A+ and N+) and I can highly recommend them. The certificate is useful in that I really learned the material I was studying for. No, it’s not an instant ticket into a job, you’ll need to get some experience and a few recommendations. Yes, it is a great way to get some baseline experience in a particular field.
