Referring to itself in the third person, Microsoft announced that Microsoft had reduced the price of an Xbox 360 by $50 in a move to gear up for the holiday season, which probably also includes the back to school season and possibly next Valentines day.

gotta laugh at all the Bints that jumped when this thing was released (and the PS3) at full Price.
Perhaps I will wait till after Christmas and pick them up then.
