When I first updated to Gutsy, everything was working like a charm. Then one day flash videos no longer played with sound. I cast about for a bit trying to figure out what exactly happened.
Finally I stumbled on Paulbetts.org – and a solution.
Simply download this .deb file and install it. Restart Firefox (or your FF based browser, like Flock) and sound should be back. Not sure how to install .deb files? Just double click on it and Ubuntu will do the rest.

The libflash package broke my sound in Hardy (apparaently). Removing it definitely fixed it for

Another problem in Ubuntu, now with sound. Guys, why just you don’t use Windows for personal use. Linux based systems are created for servers.
