Want to get that screen when you boot up in Vista rather than the useless little scroll bar sliding back and forth while you boot?

It’s very easy to do.

Click the Vista pebble start button thingy, and in the search field type:

msconfig

Once that launches, click the Boot tab, and then check off No GUI boot.

Restart and pat yourself on the back.

Very nice. I was so tired of looking at that scroll bar while it was loading. I have a lower end PC running vista so it seemed like forever. Thanks!
