When I was younger, I had a few friends who had a few friends who’d muck about with flying RC vehicles. They, and their parents in a few cases would cause these remote control flying vehicles to go from a complete stop to cruising about the field with sublime majesty. They even made the landings look easy. I tried my hand at a few of these from time to time and I always came across as a drunk WWI ace in the other side’s equipment flying backwards with my hat over my eyes and my scarf fluttering dangerously close to the prop. It’s something I just don’t have the native talent for. If I spent long, hard hours at it I could probably get to the point where I could land without destroying the vehicle and anything in the immediate vacinity.
This guy however, he’s like the DaVinci of RC Helicopter flying. He makes Airwolf look like me.

There is no person by the name “DaVinci”. Leonardo, the famous multi-talented person from Vinci, had no last name, so the term “from Vinci” was used to identify him from other Leonardos. In Italian, “from Vinci” is “DaVinci”.

And here in Modernland, when I say “DaVinci” to anyone, no one says “Wow, there a lots of folks who originated from Vinci in Italy, I wonder who he’s talking about?”
Just like when I say “Meet Jim Smith” no one looks at his arms or for a leather apron.
I’m fairly certain the vast majority of readers know exactly who I’m talking about.

he designed a helicopter that was never made. he never flew a RC helicopter, and i doubt he did any tricks on them. maybe you could lead me to some literature on Leo Da Vinci that says otherwise.

Well if Da Vinci ever was to fly an RC heli, he’d be lucky to have skills like that! I thought I was pretty good with one, but that guy puts me to shame. Thanks for the vid!
