If you’ve got some bastardized desktop with both ATI and Nvidia installed then you’ve just been hit by two branches of the lucky tree. Nvidia (my preferred brand) offers a bit more in the way of free games, but ATI has some stuff as well.
First, through an exclusive deal with Nvidia, Valve is offering Portal: First Slice (demo) along with Half Life 2: Death Match, Lost Coast and Peggle Extreme. All you’ve got to do is install Steam on your system.
Not to be outdone, well shucks, they DID get outdone. Sulking a bit perhaps, ATI is offering Half Life 2: Death Match and Lost Coast for putting a little steam on your system.
