Our rain forest friends are having a humongous sale on family DVDs. If you’re a big Jazz fan, or want to be a big Jazz fan, or simply like typing Big Jazz Fan like I do, then check out John Coltrane’s My Favorite Things. Get the whole album for a buck as a digital download.
Software wise El Tigre for the PS2 is on sale for $6.99, down from 19.99. I’ve never heard of this title but it’s cheap enough to pick up for the heck of it.
And now on to the free songs. Most of you probably don’t know this but I’m something of a medievalist. I’ve even got the degrees to prove it. Fat lot of good it’s done me in my career but hey, whenever the local lotto hits for the numbers 1066 I get to look knowingly at my compatriots and raise an eyebrow. Anyhoo, Amazon has The Very Best of Naxos Early Music as a digital download for zero dollars and zero cents. You can’t beat that with a acer virga!
