Today we see some great HDTV deals from NewEgg just in time for your football (or Xbox, or PS3, or cheesy 80′s cartoon) viewing. Also, MS’s Photosynth is out in the wild, the Eee PC with 100 bucks back and a Metalic Rose DS Lite will get you 50% off select DS games.
NewEgg is coming in with some sweet HDTV deals, as well as other accoutraments that will help you get your football viewing done in style, including countertop beer chillers and for some reason a 500GB external drive.
Microsoft has release Photosynth into the wild (for windows only) as a free download. They say a Mac version is coming later, and of course no Linux version. What is it? In their own words “Synths constitute an entirely new visual medium. Photosynth analyzes each photo for similarities to the others, and uses that data to build a model of where the photos were taken. It then re-creates the environment and uses that as a canvas on which to display the photos.”
Amazon is offering a $100 mail in rebate with select Eee PCs. Eee 900′s 12G or 20G, which after the rebate range in price from $424.99 to $442.20.
You can also get yourself a Metallic Rose DS Lite from Amazon for $129.99 which is pretty standard. But buy yourself a rose, and get 50% off a number of games, including Mario Kart DS all the Brain Ages and a bunch more. Free shipping is part of this as well.
There’s also a really good deal going on with A&E DVDs for 50% off. Think the whole Biography series (featuring everyone from Barack Obama to King Arthur) which I am very tempted to start grabbing.
That’s today’s deals!

Am I alone in saying that this doesn’t entirely make sense? How come I’m the only one wondering if this is a big joke.
