I’m the developer of a similar iPhone/iPod Touch application called dynamicDICE. It is a true 3d dice simulator, not a calculator or random number generator. It supports 5 independent tables, 20 backgrounds, 20 dice styles, all RPG dice types, 3d physics engine, full 3d view, and multi-language support. Check it out…I hope you enjoy.

As much as it looks nice, it lacks an important feature for games like Storyteller or Shadowrun.
The ability to count results (eg. 10d6, count the number of dice that roll 5 or above).

COnsidering the 64 apps you find searching for dice. Only one, Dicenomicon supports these rulesets and they are the most expensive dice app out there.

Now this is so far the only thing that I have seen that would actually make me want to have an iPhone. Or rather, a phone that would have this app.

It is a cool feature. Real spiff.
Though I would never use it to substitute my game dice. Because my dice have a certain luck factor that this app does not have. I mean, I hand picked every dice I need to roll. I hand picked them in the store and I hand picked them for the particular game I am playing.

If you start using this app, then, well….you can no longer count on your dice to help you out.

Sure, you can use the same amount of dice, but not Your Dice.
