Yes, everyone and their brother’s sisters’s uncle are playing, reviewing and yawping about the DRM (which does suck) in Spore.
I’ve been busy making things though. You can check them out to the right —-> down there somewhere or look right here.
If you read AG and are also playing and enjoying Spore (DRM unloved as it is) feel free to comment with your spore profile or sporecast as well as I’d love to check it out.

Spore is a COLOSSAL disappointment. Constant (reproduceable) crashes, that completely stop me from advancing in the game. Boring, repetitive gameplay. A creature creator that is pure vanilla. It’s only the stats that matter. doesn’t matter if you have 30 feet, or one foot, only the stat of the highest foot matters, so a one-legged creature can be faster than a multi legged one with slower feet.
I’m disappointed that I spent $50 on this. Should have waited for the bargain bin.

so you could not buy it I think spore is a fantastic game if you don’t interest don’t write or play. It’s your problem. Also for yourself Spore became the bestseller and the best game in the whole world also it became the 20th invention in the 20th century

I’ve seen spore played. Spore is quite clever, apart from the Lamarkian “evolution”.
I agree with Cavtroop that the stats are all that matters and a really cool looking creature is trumped by one cobbled together with the juicier parts. Unfortunatly I live on Rippoff Island (That’s the UK to you) and Spore costs about fourty quid in the local coin.
The DRM nad the EULA absolutly suck and tipped the balance against me spending lots of my pocket shekels on this product. Yes I read those EULA things. EA games have the right to cease the spore server service with just 30 days notice. The game has DRM that is capable of crippling the game if you don’t log on after a period of time if EA choose to do so. This DRM software remains on your PC even if you uninstall the game causing who knows what mischief. Users can be banned merely for posting stuff on the Spore official forums the moderators object to. Best seller, yeah. Great game, probably. Arrogant and Draconian implemetation of DRM allowing EA to shaft its legit customers when is sees fit? Almost certainly. This customer won’t be buying stuff this locked up with DRM no matter how good it may be; not from anyone.

I was just searching for this information for some time. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, at last I got it in your site. I wonder what is the lack of Google strategy that don’t rank this type of informative websites in top of the list. Usually the top web sites are full of garbage.
