No, “iPhone Brown” is not the new official name for the iPhone 3GS, but the new smartphone is too hot for its own good. The overheating glitch actually singes the phone a golden brown. The French journal, Le Journal du Geek posts a user photo of a burnt iPhone, in which an achromatic iPhone is now blessed with two tan lines down the back.
Uh oh. Is Apple’s newest gadget going up in smoke? No official report from Cupertino is forthcoming, but most are speculating that the problem is Apple’s legendary albatross—battery issues.
The conversation is heating up on Apple’s discussion board. One user quips, “An iPhone getting warm due to a running app is normal. An iPhone getting too hot to touch is not.” But apparently, some users are having just that problem. As one user complained, ” I had been burned…from the iPhone getting so hot.”
Since hitting the market, the iPhone has been legendary for its speed, functionality, touch screen, and thousands of apps. Most users are more than pleased with Apple’s revolutionary smartphone, and the new iPhone 3GS, with an amazing array of cool features, has not been a disappointment. Now bundled with a video camera, compass, higher speeds, and an upgraded firmware, the new iPhone is sizzling hot—in more ways than one.
No functionality seems to be compromised from the incendiary phone, but users don’t want to play hot potato with their iPhone all the time. Apple is going to have to do something.

Good Gracious!!!!Can I have more insight on the problem please. I wanted to buy the iPhone when it was launched but waited as the first one would mostly be a trial and error piece. When the iphone 3G was launched I really wanted to buy but di go for it as it din have the basic Video function. When I saw iPhone 3Gs had it all I wanted to for it and this has come as a surprise for me!!

The iPhone is a really awesome phone as far as all the apps and functions it has. I’ve been thinking about getting one but after reading this, I might have to go with a different phone. I wouldn’t want it burning up next to my ear and turning brown lol.
Thanks for the post.

If you got a iphone, you may find your life better.
But Apple’s iphone still get some bad points.
If you want to put your stuff from iphone to pc,you need

Indeed iPhone heated very strongly, especially when charging the battery. True, this is still the only flaw that I noticed.
